OK OK we are not the Scrooges after all.

We kinda got in the Christmas mood today. We decided to put the tree up and wrap some presents. So here is a couple of pictures.

I heard back from the agency today and the Guatemala attorney did get our documents yesterday and took them to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Now it will take about 3 weeks for them to be processed, then we can enter PGN. We are hoping and praying for a short stay in PGN, but no one really knows how long we will be in this final stage.

I just keep telling myself this is the last major step before Meredith can come home, and so what if we miss the first Christmas there will be others and I know Marina will take lots of pictures for me. We do know that Meredith did get her ears pierced about a week ago, can't wait to see those.

Well I guess that's it for now, I'm working on some photo albums to take with us to Aunt Lib's this weekend.

Great, that is more like it! Beautiful tree, and just look at all the toys and presents!!! Glad to hear the paperwork is there, and praying for a speedy final step. That is great news.

Your photo's of the tree and the two of you are great!
Praying too that it will be in the PGN and the quickly be ready so maybe you will be bringing home Princess Meredith soon after the first of the year!
A great reason to leave that tree up! :)

PS: you CAN leave your Tree up... if it is artificial as you can decorate it with whatever you chose...

When Madison was a baby, (3 wks before Christmas) We decorated the tree with everything 'baby' bibs, rattles etc... great tree and memories :)

how many more to go??? That's the million dollar question. We are just sitting and wondering when will we get out. We are still hoping and praying for a previo free stay in PGN. I find myself hitting the send/receive button on my email every couple of minutes, and ever time my cell phone rings my heart drops. This waiting is almost unbearable. But everyone tells me that NO news is GOOD news where PGN is concerned. On a down note, my friend Keely found out yesterday that she received a previo on Friday for something totally ridiculous. But thankfully she went right back in that day. As for our weekly update, it was the same as it has been for 7 weeks. We are still in PGN waiting for approval.

A riddle for you.....

What do you get when you mix red and white?????? PINK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YYYYYAAAAHHHHHOOOOOOO Our appt is 04/16/07 at 7:15 am We will probably be home the 18th or 19th. I'm working out the details as we speak. Aunt Lib I think the pink ribbons worked today. Rebecca also go her appt today and hers is 04/17/07, kinda bummed that we won't be a the embassy together, but we will be a the hotel together.

OK I MUST TELL YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WE ARE OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YES YES YES YES YES YES We are officially out of PGN. Meredith is legally our's. We don't have all the details yet, but they said we would be traveling in 6-8 weeks, although it should be much sooner. I can't believe that this day has finally come. Thanks to everyone for their support.
